United KingdomUK-based manufacturer of folding bikes, Brompton Bicycles, manufactures about 100,000 bikes annually. But, it struggled to keep up with the high demand for its iconic product. With its engineers looking for ways to increase manufacturing capacity, Brompton turned to AWS Partner RS Industria to monitor key production assets to clear production bottlenecks. As a result of this smart manufacturing solution, Brompton increased its annual production capacity by 20,000 bikes with minimal capital investment.

Subeca’s Amazon Sidewalk-Enabled Meters Significantly Cut Telemetry Costs
United StatesSubeca, an Internet of Things (IoT) company focused on water management, was looking to provide low-cost, simple-to-install smart water solutions for utilities of all sizes. Subeca sought to deliver smart water for all using the Amazon Sidewalk network—a move that would eliminate a significant operational cost, dramatically simplify deployment, and offer unprecedented flexibility in deployment for utilities.
Working with AWS Partner Klika Tech and STMicroelectronics, Subeca integrated Amazon Sidewalk and AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN into its BLINC modules—also known as the brains of Subeca’s solutions set. The result is an AWS-powered solution that offers water utilities a simplified user experience, substantial cost savings, and improved efficiency. Notably, this planned solution has propelled Subeca’s sales pipeline growth by an astounding 850 percent year over year.

Apollo Tyres Gains 9% Productivity with IoT Solution from Deloitte and AWS
IndiaApollo Tyres, one of India’s largest tire manufacturers, sought to transform its manufacturing processes with an ambitious digital strategy. The company worked with AWS Partner Deloitte to implement an Internet of Things (IoT) solution on Amazon Web Services (AWS), connecting its production equipment to a data lake. Real-time data collection, integration, and advanced analytics through a centralized dashboard have enabled a 9 percent increase in productivity on primary equipment and a 3 percent reduction in energy usage.
