Filter source select list - new expiriance app template

Hi,
Is it possible to filter the data source in a table column that should be set as a select list? Of course, it's about the new exisiance app template.
I tried to use the function but after using the function the field is no longer editable. I would like to get the same effect as for the classic builder when a Picklist field is selected and the FILTER function is used for the data source.
I've also tried to set the data type of the column as Select list but I don't see the option to use the FILTER function for the data source here.

You should be able to do this with related lists in the new experience. Here is an article that you might find helpful:
