I just tried this out, and it is working as expected. This is how it looks:
Looking at your screenshot, there appears to be an error in your formula; perhaps double-check the table name and re-write the formula in the field. A filled-in blue dot will appear next to the formula if it evaluates successfully.
After you make the change, re-publish the automation and see if the automation works as expected. Let us know if that helps! 
Thanks Alyssa!!! I changed the mhetod, I created a table UNIQUE, read this table and then increment by 1, each time I insert a new row.

Yes, what you created is another good method to auto-increment a value (also shown here: Build a Unique Row ID Automation).
