Workbook: Issue for AVERAGEIF function if column is picklist / rowlink

Dear Team,
I am facing issue while using AverageIF function to perform average by unique names from name column (as shown in attached screenshot).
The Averageif function works perfect if the name column is text format , but not with picklist/rowlink format.
Can you please help with solution as I need to perform averageif function on picklist/rowlink column or advise how I can create a dummy column that can dynamically convert picklist/rowlink in workbook to a text format column so that I can use that in my averageif function.

Screenshot has two sample table , Green table shows Averageif working good with text format name column and red table shows it doesn't work with picklist/rowlink column format.

Hi @Khur-742a,

Here is our recommendation:
Step 1) Create a column that de-references the value you are interested in from the rowlink column.
Step 2) Then create the avg calculation based on the deferenced column value
